For ages, people have been told by their good doctors that regular exercises are good for them. No doubt, you've heard such advice from your own family doctor.
But can exercises help you fight aging? Or an sex be a good form of exercise to help you look & feel younger?
How exercises can help you fight aging
The key to staying younger (with exercises) is that you must do it on a regular basis. How regular is regular? The answer is : exercising for 30 to 40 minutes, 3 or 4 times a week is considered regular.
According to researchers at the University of California, one of the main causes of the deterioration of the your body's function is the reduced ability to turn glucose into energy (metabolism).
Regular exercises like walking, jogging, swimming etc, will help your body perform this important function better and thus reduce the effects of aging.
So please remember to do your exercises regularly. If you work the whole day in front of a computer, this is even more important.
And what about sex?
According to a fascinating study by Dr. David Weeks,
consultant neuro-psychologist and author of the book
"Superyoung", people who look decades younger than
their peers have very special habits.
These "superyoung" are those annoying people who turned
up at "old class-mates" gatherings looking just like they did
in school (years or decades ago). And they live a much
longer life than the rest of us.
It seems that time stood just still for them.
Fortunately, Dr Weeks discovered certain habits or behavior
of these "superyoung" that you can too acquire to look and
feel young ... and live longer too.
The good doctor is quoted by
BBC news online as saying that lots of sex keeps one young.
Making love with a regular partner causes your body to produce certain chemicals
(including HGH ) that can repair cells and ensure youthfulness.
And not just sex but regular sex with orgasms!
